Campus life just got an upgrade. As a new IU student attending orientation, you’re among the first to experience the all-new digital CrimsonCard—your university ID, now in your Apple Wallet or Google Wallet.
Unlock buildings, pay for meals, print, and more — all with a quick tap.
Please note: You can only have one active CrimsonCard at a time—either physical or digital, but not both.
This exciting transition is launching in phases, starting with select orientation students and soon expanding to all IU students, faculty, and staff.

CrimsonCard is going digital to enhance convenience and improve the overall campus experience. By integrating CrimsonCard into the Apple Wallet and Google Wallet apps, students, faculty, and staff can easily access campus services without needing a physical card. The digital CrimsonCard will provide seamless access to buildings, dining, printing, and more, all from a smartphone.
You may only have one active CrimsonCard at a time—either physical or digital, not both.
If you set up your digital CrimsonCard on your device, you will not be eligible to receive a physical card.

The digital CrimsonCard can be used for the following:
IU Bloomington: Door/elevator access, printing, meal plans, laundry, and sports and recreation facilities
IU Indianapolis: Door/elevator access, printing, meal plans, and sports and recreation facilities
IU East: Door/elevator access
No, your digital CrimsonCard is provided at no cost.
